Tell us how you first met?

We met in 2008. We had a few mutual friends, and Nic asked them about me. He asked a friend for my number, added me on Myspace, and we went from there!

When did you know he/she was the one? Was there something he/she did?

Nic: When it was about a year and a half into the relationship, I knew. She helped me get through school, which was the most stressful thing I have ever done. She was so suportive of me. I knew then.
Melissa: I knew Nic was the one when he helped me with some family issues I had recently gone through. He was so great and caring with me. He went to a lot of effort to make sure I was happy.

Tell us about the proposal. (Did you see it coming? How did you feel?)

Nic made it seem that we were getting pictures done for Christmas cards. While we were posing for a picture, he got down on one knee and proposed! I didn't see it coming. I was so excited!

Tell us the one thing you love most about each other.

Nic: She can always make me smile. She keps me level headed in my most stressful moments.
Melissa: I love his sense of humor, and the fact he can always get me smiling.

Besides getting married- what's the one thing you are looking forward to on your wedding day?

Celebrating with our families!

What's the one thing you wish you would have known earlier in regards to planning?

Planning takes a lot of time. It is a lot of detail.
